Motorcycling - Some of the best biking in Europe within an easy days cruise and secure and sheltered parking so you can relax at the end of the day. If you havn’t got a bike or don’t want to ride all the down here, you can still enjoy the experience, as top quality bikes can be hired locally (and even delivered to our door) via;

Hiking -
Numerous local trails, and for the more adventurous there are extensive marked and serviced trails in the Regional Natural Park, the Gorges and the Mountains of the Corbières, all within an hour or so drive. www.walkingthelanguedoc.com

Water Sports & Family Fun - Swimming, water-skiing, sailing - on the numerous beaches within a 10 minute drive. Canoeing, kayaking and rafting on the lakes and rivers within a 1 hour drive. “Aquapark” at nearby Cap d’Agde.

Cycling - Cycling is a very popular sport in France and cyclists are generally more respected than in Britain, particularly by other road users.

The area around Florensac is relatively flat and ideal for ‘holiday touring’ but there are many marked trails in the Regional Natural Park, the Gorges and the Mountains of the Corbières for the more adventurous. Mountain Bikes can be hired from us, dependent on pre-booking and availability.

Wine Tasting -
The Languedoc is a land covered with vineyards and countless growers offer tastings for the public, so there is a wine to be found to suit every palate and hours of fun to be had searching!

Eating Out - As well as the restaurants in Florensac, it is only a 5 minute drive to the Bassin de Thau (inland sea) where the numerous restaurants specialise in freshly caught seafood, particularly mussels and oysters, from the bassin itself.
